Fremantle Press are proud to launch the new novel Cutler by David Whish-Wilson.

Cutler by David Whish-Wilson is based on years of research and true stories from the high seas. David said, ‘In many respects, crime novels are the social or political novels of our time, while ideally remaining highly accessible and entertaining for readers. While my primary purpose is to entertain, a lot of my crime novels have had an underlying political purpose – to write into historical silences or to shine a light on the consequences of human behaviour – both on an individual and institutional level.’

Fiction publisher Georgia will host the in-conversation event with David, delving into this timely novel that captures the environmental destruction and human trafficking rife in the industrial deep-sea fishing world.

Join us on Thursday 17 October at 6.00 pm at Success Library in Cockburn as we celebrate the launch of this spectacular novel. Book sales and signings will be available on the night, thanks to New Edition Bookshop.

Ticket sales will go live on 9 September 2024. Tickets are free but there are a limited number of spaces, so book your ticket now by clicking on the link.
