25th anniversary edition of Benang: From the Heart by Kim Scott features on ABC RN’s Big Weekend of Books
We’re excited to hear Kim Scott and Tony Birch at 11 am AEDT Sunday 16 June discuss their bodies of work and how writing fiction is a way to speak to and dismantle the past.
This is a great way to commemorate 25 years of Kim Scott’s ground-breaking, award-winning book Benang: From the Heart.
The pair are just two of the amazing authors who will be featured across the weekend as this on-air writers festival takes over the RN airwaves on Saturday and Sunday June 15 & 16 from 10am to 5pm each day.
People can listen via their radios, online or via the ABC Listen App (they can stream it there too or catch up on anything they miss).
