A dark and mysterious book launch

Tim Parish will be helping us launch Lily in the Mirror by Paula Hayes at 10.30 am on Saturday 6 August at Paper Bird Children’s Books and Arts.

About the book
Lily loves all things dark and mysterious, so when she discovers a magic mirror in a locked room it’s like a dream come true. Or is it … With a new friend who needs her help, and an older brother who needs to get a life, Lily will require all eleven fingers at her disposal, plus a hefty slice of Grandad’s chocolate ganache cake, to fix a long-forgotten mystery that’s very close to home.

Some characters are dead funny (and some are just dead) but under the gags is a mystery story that tugs at the heartstrings. Paula Hayes is a talented new voice in children’s literature and we’re very proud to have her on our list.
