Calling all storytellers! Join Joanna Morrison at the Open Book for a three-part creative writing course to unlock your creativity, hone your skills, and workshop your own short story in a fun and constructive environment.

Joanna Morrison is an experienced creative writing teacher and workshop facilitator. Her debut novel, The Ghost of Gracie Flynn, was shortlisted for the 2020 Hungerford Award and will be published in October 2022.

COST : $180 for the three workshops

Over the course of three Saturday morning workshops, you will:

Use visual and other prompts to unlock your creativity
Discover & practise key immersive-writing techniques
Workshop your original story (1500-3000 words) in a safe, constructive space
Discover how giving feedback can strengthen your own writing
Polish your story till it shines
