Quokka Finds a Friend by Katie Stewart launches at Northam Library

Katie Stewart is heading to Northam Library for a magical storytime session to launch her gorgeous new picture book Quokka Finds a Friend.

Katie’s most recent picture book is an adorable and wise story that is perfect to read aloud with children, and it’s a great tool to use when discussing difficult concepts, such as understanding other people’s emotions.

Katie, one of WA’s favourite picture book talents, will be joined by CBCA Committee member Jan Nicholls to launch the book, followed by a morning of storytelling and crafting activities, including having your face painted like a quokka!
