But long before she found herself garnering praise, Deborah Pike was dreaming of a cast of characters whose passion and rivalry would bind them across time and continents.

The Players is the debut novel that explores the intricate relationships and quests for meaning among a group of university students as they navigate friendship and love. Set against the backdrop of a transformative summer of rehearsals, the story follows their dramatic coming-of-age journey, revealing how the bonds they form are challenged over the years.
