Is there any better place to listen to conversations about literature than in the mountains? The Blue Mountains Writers Festival is on again this October and November.

Two Fremantle Press anthologies will be celebrated across the weekend:

Spinning Around: The Kylie Playlist contributors Christos Tsiolkas, Jessica White and Patrick Marlborough will be reading from their works as host Ali McGregor provides musical interpretations on 1 November.

On 2 November, get an early insight into Rivers Flow: Reflections on the Songs of Archie Roach & Ruby Hunter, an all-First Nations collaboration celebrating the music of Archie Roach and Ruby Hunter. Three of the contributors – Ali Cobby Eckermann, Julie Janson and Graham Akhurst – will be in conversation about the anthology and the creative impact of two of Australia’s most cherished artists and cultural leaders.

Patrick Marlborough will also be appearing on Queerstories, a panel celebrating the culture and creativity of the LGBTQIA+ community, one story at a time, on 1 November.
