Join Kate Larsen at the Cities of Literature Book Club in Carlton

We’re pleased to share that Kate Larsen will join The Cities of Literature Book Club for a special event honouring the legacy of Ukranian author Victoria Amelina. This discussion will take place at the Carlton Courthouse in Victoria on Saturday 15 November at 3.30 pm.

Kate Larsen is a writer and arts, cultural and non-profit consultant based in Naarm/Melbourne, and one of Australia’s best-known social media poets. Her poetry collection, Public. Open. Space, was published by Fremantle Press in 2023 and examines how censorship and activism transpire in both digital and physical realms. This exploration of freedom and suppression aligns with the discussions at the Cities of Literature Book Club event honouring Amelina’s life and work.
