Publisher Georgia Richter and author Linda Martin talk A Tale of Two Publishing Houses

Linda Martin, author of A Tale of Two Publishing Houses, will be in conversation with Fremantle Press publisher Georgia Richter at City of Perth Library on Wednesday 5 August.

Georgia will ask Linda all about the process of writing this local history memoir and the experience of running a small independent publishing press in today’s publishing landscape.

Focusing on the establishment of Fremantle Press in the 1970s and 1980s, A Tale of Two Publishing Houses is part history, part memoir and a love letter to the world of books. From the daring spirit of two publishing trailblazers in the 1970s to the grit and heart it takes to launch a small press today, the book is a tale of vision, tenacity and the magic that happens when people believe in stories.

Books will be available for purchase, with signings on the night.
