Bad Seed launches in Oz as Prime Cut launches in Germany

Over 120 people dragged themselves away from a Dockers home game to attend the launch of Bad Seed by Alan Carter at New Edition Bookshop this month. It was a great celebration for the third book in the Cato Kwong series and one which coincided with the launch of Alan’s Prime Cut in Germany. Published by Edition Nautilus, Prime Cut made the Zeit online best crime books of March, was the featured crime novel of the month on West German radio station WDR 2 and was highly praised in a major review in the Frankfurter Allgemeine. Alan will head to Germany after attending the Bristol Crime Festival in May.

In North American news, Whisky Charlie Foxtrot by Annabel Smith was chosen by Target as their April 2015 Club Pick. Renamed Whiskey and Charlie, Target’s exclusive edition comes with an author biography and a reader’s guide. The audio version of the book will be published in North America in April 2015 by Blackstone Audio.
