UK edition of The Weaver Fish

This is the beautiful new UK cover for The Weaver Fish by Robert Edeson. We love seeing how different countries interpret our books through their covers. By the way, it’s accompanied by one of our favourite office treats, cumquat cake, baked by me but using Anna Gare’s recipe from Homemade.

We’ve also been cooking up a new custom publication for the National Trust WA that was launched last month. Fremantle Press was commissioned to publish Picture Palaces of the Golden West celebrating Western Australia’s art deco cinemas. It captures the excitement of early film goers and the ambience and exotic decor of the buildings, many of which are now state heritage listed.

Did you notice that we’ve woken the panda? Pandamonia will be launched in August but is in all good bookstores now. We’ve just sold some more rights for it, too – this time to Kane Miller in the USA.
