REMINDER: Last chance to submit manuscripts in 2010
Anyone close to completing that novel, memoir or poetry collection, is reminded that the closing date for unsolicited manuscripts for 2010 is 17 December. Submissions will be welcome again from 21 March 2011.
“Unsolicited manuscripts have been a cornerstone of our program and every year we are delighted by what arrives unheralded,” said Assessment Editor Wendy Jenkins.
“We will be using the summer hiatus to catch up on the backlog, and to look at ways to best respond to the increased level of submissions and to changes in technology.”
New submission guidelines and general information will be available from this site at the end of February.
“We are not planning huge changes,” said Jenkins.
“We just want to be sure as we can be that we keep finding manuscripts that excite us and readers of our books.”
