Tim Winton’s The Deep goes east
Spare Parts Puppet Theatre is touring the Eastern States with an adaptation of Tim Winton’s classic children’s book The Deep. From March 28 to May 23, the show will be stopping at nineteen different locations across Victoria, Tasmania, News South Wales and Queensland.
Using a combination of puppetry, dance and theatre, The Deep tells the story of Alice who lives in a house by the sea but is afraid of the deep. Every day Alice is stuck making sandcastles on the shore while her family jump, dive and bellyflop off the jetty. Then one day some new friends come into the bay and Alice forgets to be scared.
The Deep is sure to entertain and is suitable for children over four.
