What authors need to know about marketing, social media and PR
Have you ever wondered what you could be doing right now to build your author profile? Even if you’re an unpublished author working on your first manuscript, setting aside some time to work on your promotion will always hold you in good stead throughout your career.
In our latest podcast, Fremantle Press Marketing and Communications Manager Claire Miller is joined by Hancock Creative social media mentor Lisa Shearon, Small Press Network General Manager Tim Coronel and award-winning children’s book creator James Foley to talk about marketing and PR. They discuss how to develop an author brand and an authentic social media profile, the importance of knowing your audience, preparing for media interviews and best practices for networking with anyone in the book trade.
