Merryana Salem (they/she) is a proud Wonnarua and second-generation Lebanese-Australian author, culture writer, teacher and podcaster. They are the co-creator and co-host of the LGBT media podcast, GayV Club, and a regular contributor and staff writer for the Big Issue, Kill Your Darlings and Junkee. In 2021, she was shortlisted for the Penguin Random House Write It Fellowship.
