Pamela Statham-Drew lectured in economic history at the University of Western Australia for 42 years, retiring as Associate Professor in 2006. She graduated with an honours degree in Economics from Monash University in Victoria and was awarded her doctorate by the University of Western Australia. She has written and edited a number of books on Australian history.
