Sharron Hough is a poet, short story writer and lover of children’s literature. Born in Perth, her childhood experiences were enriched by living and attending schools in different cities around Australia. Inspired by authors such as Roald Dahl and Shel Silverstein, Sharron has developed her own quirky blend of humour and rhyme. Her career in healthcare spans 25 years. Passionate about people’s wellbeing and mental health, she is an advocate for equal opportunity, and will always barrack for the underdog (or cat). Sharron now calls Armadale, Western Australia home and regularly publishes her work via @pandering_to_poetry on Instagram.
