Badimia pronunciation guide

Step into the world of Badimia language and culture with Elder Darryl Fogarty. Born in Mount Magnet, Western Australia, Darryl carries on the precious knowledge passed down from his father about the Meelyu, his family’s totem lizard. As guardians of the Meelyu, Darryl’s family protects and cares for this special creature.

In this podcast series, Darryl shares this beautiful connection to Country through Milly Meelyu, a dual-language picture book he wrote with Dr Holly Bradley, and illustrated by Darryl's daughter, Corinne Fogarty.
