iFish Films sponsors book trailer for Et Voila!

Subiaco-based businesses iFish Films and Kitchen Witch generously donated their time and equipment for a short film featuring Emmanuel Mollois.

The eight-minute dvd, which will be released online in three instalments, features recipes from Mollois’ forthcoming book Et Voila! French pastries from Choux Café.

Rich Morrant of iFish Films said the most difficult part of filming with Emmanuel was maintaining his waistline in the face of so many delicious pastries.

“For anybody who is even remotely interested in creating fantastic French desserts, the trailers will help de-mystify French pastry cooking.

“It was Emmanuel’s first time in front of the camera and we couldn’t be more impressed with his style, knowledge and flair,” said Morrant.

He said iFish Films were working a television series to take advantage of Emmanuel’s abilities.

Sales and Distribution Manager Clive Newman said the film had already been sent to sales representatives around the country to give them an idea of Mollois’ irrepressible enthusiasm and commitment to fine food before showing the book to bookstores.

“The film will also be available free to bookstores wishing to use it as an in-store merchandising tool,” said Newman.

Anyone wanting the lowdown on making croissants or choux pastry from an expert Chef should keep an eye out on YouTube and vimeo in late August or early September. The dvd was filmed on location at Choux Café and in the Kitchen Witch demonstration kitchen where Mollois regularly hosts French cooking classes.

Et Voila! French pastries from the Choux Café will be launched in the last week of August and will be available from all good bookstores.

iFish Films have extensive experience creating ‘on-message’ videos for both television and corporate clients.
