Romanian language rights for Marcella Polain’s historical novel The Edge of the World were licensed to Ararat s.r.l. this month.

The Edge of the World, which was shortlisted for a Commonwealth Writers’ Prize in 2008, is a powerful story about a family of Armenians fragmented by genocide, exile and emigration who are eventually reunited – albeit utterly changed.

In other rights news this month Vision Australia purchased the audio rights to Spinner by Ron Elliott and Bolinda will publish a new audio edition of My Place by Sally Morgan.
