Matsu in running for WA Screen Award

Dust photographer Daniel ‘Matsu’ Craig has been nominated for Best Music Video in the 28th Annual West Australian Screen Awards (WASAs).

The nominated music video for ‘Slow Glow’ by local multi-instrumentalist and songwriter Fait (aka Elise Higgins) was directed by Matsu, with cinematography by Joel Crane and camera work by Zac Gordon.

In a media release about the announcement, FTI CEO Paul Bodlovich said the WA screen sector was growing and diversifying and that the WASAs were one of the most important events on the cultural calendar.

Rhys Nicholson will be hosting the 28th annual gala awards ceremony in the stunning Heath Ledger Theatre of the State Theatre Centre of WA on Monday 4 July 2016. The event will open the Revelation Perth International Film Festival. Tickets are on sale now.

Dust was launched in November 2015 with help from special guests Kav Temperley and Lucy Peach. It is available from all good bookstores and online.
