Hungerford workshop: polishing a manuscript for publication

With submissions to the City of Fremantle T.A.G. Hungerford Award opening on Friday 2 February and closing on Friday 16 March, this workshop is perfectly timed to help you get your manuscript into shape with the help of author and editor Deb Fitzpatrick.

Deb has a Master of Arts (Creative Writing) from UWA and teaches professional writing and editing at Curtin University. Her work came to the attention of Fremantle Press after Have you see Ally Queen? was shortlisted for the Hungerford Award. A decade later she has published novels for adults, young adults and children in both Australia and the USA. The workshop will take place from 6.30 to 8.00 pm on Wednesday 7 February 2018 at Fremantle Library (now temporarily located at the Fremantle Oval). The cost is $25 and bookings can be made by calling 9432 9999 or emailing curious@fremantle.wa.gov.au.
