Stellarphant launches into the Better Reading Top 50 Kids’ Books list

James Foley’s Stellarphant continues to enjoy its time in the sun with another sticker added to the crowded front cover of this very popular children’s book. Today’s accolade is the book’s entry – at number 36 – on the 2022 Better Reading’s Top 50 Kids’ Books list.

Each year, Aussie kids, parents, teachers, librarians and book lovers have their say about which children’s books and authors they love to read. This year, it seems Stella is one irresistible astronaut.

James Foley said he was, yet again, blown away by the recognition. He said, ‘I put a lot of work and a lot of heart into Stellarphant. You never know how a book will be received, so I’m continually amazed that the book has connected with readers as much as it has. I truly appreciate everyone who got online and voted!’

Better Reading Director Cheryl Akle states about the nominated titles, ‘This year’s list is a strong one. Each story distinctively elevates everyday life into something fantastical.’

The Top 50 Kids’ Books are available in Big W stores nationwide, bookshops and libraries. All over the country, readers use the Top 50 kids list as their annual book list, counting down their reads alone, with friends, in libraries and school classrooms, and on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter using the hashtags #Top50Kids2022 and #BRTop50Kids.

The book is also available in all good bookstores and online – but continues to sell fast, so get your orders in today.
