Rabble Books: Kick off your Pride festivities with the editor of An Unexpected Party, Seth Malacari, for an evening of light refreshments and live readings under the fairy lights and pride flags of Rabble Books on Friday 3 November (6:00 pm). Live readings will be conducted by Seth and fellow contributors, Em Readman, Jesse Galea, Clover Lake, Alexander Te Pohe, Lukah Roser, L.E. Austin and Shaeden Berry. Murdoch University: Join the editor for An Unexpected Party, Seth Malacari, as he features in a panel: The Pride in Storytelling Panel, hosted in Murdoch University’s Boola Katitjin. Join authors Ash Taylor and Elizabeth Bourke in conversation with Tina Huang at Better Read Than Dead bookshop in Newton on Tuesday 31 October (6:30 pm) for an evening discussing everything from fantastical realms to real-world struggles. BRISBANE:
