James Foley, Deb Fitpatrick and Renae Hayward at Telling Tales in Balingup

Join children’s authors Deb Fitzpatrick, James Foley and Renae Hayward at the down-south children’s festival Telling Tales in Balingup, proudly sponsored by the Shire of Donnybrook-Balingup.

Each year a host of published WA authors and illustrators present interactive workshops throughout the Telling Tales weekend. James will host a series of activities introducing kid’s to the wonders of being an author illustrator with his two new editions of the Sally Tinker series, Brobot and Gastronauts, now printed in full colour. Renae will be hosting storytime sessions with the young bubs as they Say Hooray with her interactive story book. Deb Fitzpatrick will appear to talk about her zany new kids adventure novel, Kelpie Chaos, and all her junior fiction titles.

This event promises to be a fantastic, fun-filled weekend for the whole family. Copies of each author’s books will be available to purchase on the day and during the sessions.
