Stream the 2025 Emerging Writers’ Festival program launch

It’s nearly time for the 2025 Emerging Writers Festival! The program launch will take place on 7 August at 6:30 pm (AEST) at The Wheeler Centre.

Not in Naarm/Melbourne? No problem! The launch will be streamed nationally online, so you can join in the literary fun from home.

The program promises to burst with cross-disciplinary projects, new opportunities for community connection, and bold creative energy. The festival continues its mission to platform fresh voices and provide inspiration for writers of all ages and stages of their career.

At this special launch event you’ll get a glimpse at what to expect from the 2025 festival, and will be joined by artists Ella Rowe, Bayley Turner and Fremantle Press poet Andrew Sutherland.
