Claire G. Coleman is a Noongar woman whose family have belonged to the south coast of Western Australia since before history started being recorded. Growing up near Boorloo, now living in the hills near Naarm she writes fiction, non-fiction, drama and verse. She has two published novels, Terra Nullius and The Old Lie and a non-fiction book Lies, Damned Lies and an upcoming novel, Enclave, with Hachette in early 2022.
Claire has written for many publications including Meanjin, the Saturday Paper, the Guardian, Australian Poetry, Griffith Review, Chicago Review, Spectrum and many others. She is also an accomplished public speaker and her art writing has been published in many catalogues and periodicals. Her work has been published in anthologies on many occasions.
