Wendy Jenkins (d.2022)

Wendy Jenkins was born in Western Australia in 1952 and is a fourth generation Fremantle resident. She worked for four decades as a publisher’s editor and manuscript assessor for Fremantle Press and now writes full-time. Her poetry and fiction have appeared in numerous magazines and anthologies, and her published books include two collections of poetry and four novels for younger readers. She has been editor or co-editor of three anthologies and is a past member of the Literature Board of the Australia Council.
