Author tour: James Foley brings gastro to Australia


Fremantle Press author James Foley is getting busier and busier in the run-up to the publication of his next book in the S. Tinker Inc. series, Gastronauts this October.

Hot on the heels of Scribblers Festival in Perth and a weekend in Melbourne attending the Children’s Book Council of Australia’s Victorian Conference and Reimagine Family Fun Day at Geelong Library, he’s getting set to head to New South Wales, Queensland and Victoria.

James is still available for bookstore signings and window installations, school visits, talks and festivals in some states as outlined below. To find out more about James and make a booking go to his author page.

July: Queensland

18–20 July: Whitsunday Voices Youth Literature Festival, Mackay, Queensland. A full program and tickets are available from their website.

August: New South Wales/Western Australia

13–17 August: Kingsley, WA.
23–28 August: Cranbrook, Ashfield and Hornsby, NSW.
25–26 August: Available for bookstore visits in Sydney and suburbs, but booking up fast.

October: Western Australia/Victoria/New South Wales

3 October: Awesome Festival, WA. More information coming soon.
4–5 October: Available for bookstore window installations in Perth, but booking up fast.
6–7 October: Available for bookstore window installations, signings, school visits and library talks or workshops in Sydney.
8 October: Sydney comics workshop and Gastronauts book launch. More information coming soon.
9–14 October: Visiting schools during the week in Melbourne; Tuesday 9 and Friday 12 October are still available. Also available for bookstore window installations, signings, library talks and workshops during this week.
