Book Launch & Musical Celebration: Geraldine by Andrea Thompson debuts at the City of Melville this March

Celebrate the launch of Geraldine by Andrea Thompson in a very special event will take place at AH Bracks Library and Creative Space on Thursday 27 March.
Geraldine is an uplifting read that resonates with the music and culture of the 60s, 70s, and the Australian music scene of the 80s and beyond. Andrea’s passion for music and gender inclusivity infuses every page, while the novel also serves as a reflection of historical moments in the politics of gender-diversity. Don’t miss the upcoming Geraldine book launch, where live performances and readings will bring the spirit of the book to life in a celebration of music, identity, and transformation.
This launch will be proudly hosted by Lisa Ellery, a talented crime author and lawyer, with performances and readings from a diverse group of talented musicians and artists. Highlights include Vanessa Thornton, bassist of Jebediah, Addison Axe, a rare appearance by the frontwoman of The Tommyhawks and Axe Girl, and indie pop sensation Cecilia, among others. The launch celebrates Geraldine, the debut novel by Andrea Thompson, a music journalist and artist manager whose personal journey inspired the creation of the book.
