In Amazing Astro Animals, author–illustrator James Foley tells the true stories of the animals who went to space, including dogs, monkeys, earthworms, even jellyfish.
To celebrate the book’s blend of science and storytelling, we’ve created a free classroom activity that invites students to choose their favourite astro animal and turn its journey into a comic strip. With ready-to-use panels and prompts, students can combine their curiosity and creativity to build a narrative, and use images and text to communicate ideas.
