A new university-based writing festival is here

Curtin University is celebrating 50 years of creative writing and 25 years of professional writing and publishing with a festival all about creativity, with some of WA’s best authors on hand.

Hear from Fremantle Press authors Natasha Lester, David Whish-Wilson, Kim Scott, Molly Schmidt, Reneé Pettitt-Schipp, Kate McCaffrey, Madelaine Dickie, Madison Godfrey, Marie O’Rourke, Caitlin Maling, Chemutai Glasheen, Deborah Hunn, Cass Lynch and Tracy Ryan in a lively program that is sure to delight writers and readers.

For the aspiring writers, choose your own adventure with two panels running consecutively: How to Pitch to a Publisher, featuring publishers from Elephant Page Publishing, Upswell Publishing and UWA Publishing as well as Fremantle Press’s own Georgia Richter, and Table of Objects: Flash fiction with Dr Cass Lynch.
