Sally Morgan received award recognition for the second time this week with the announcement that her verse novel Sister Heart is an honour book for older readers in the 2016 Children’s Book Council of Australia Book Awards. Before It Breaks by Dave Warner was today shortlisted for a 2016 Ned Kelly Award for Best Fiction. Run by the Australian Crime Writers Association, the award is this country’s oldest and most prestigious prize honouring crime writing.
